  16. Description of change
  17. ---------------------
  18.     With X11R6 the file KeyWSink.c does not compile.  It is literally
  19.     subclassing (in the Object Oriented sense) the Athena Text Sink
  20.     widget.  As such, it is quite dependent on the superclass's data.
  21.     This data was the same for X11R4 and X11R5, but changed for X11R6.  
  22.  
  23.     This keyword sink widget is used to highlight the index search words
  24.     in a text display resulting from a gopher search (type 7 item).  By
  25.     installing Xgopher 1.3.3 *AND* compiling with X11R6 you give up this
  26.     highlighting.  Compiling Xgopher 1.3.3 with X11R4 or X11R5 still
  27.     uses this keyword highlighting widget.

  29.     This is, of course, not the ideal solution, but it will allow
  30.     sites with X11R6 to use Xgopher.   A more permanent solution will
  31.     be forthcoming.

  33.     I do not yet have X11R6 available to me, but I made some suggestions
  34.     to Steve Kotsopoulos (<steve@ecf.toronto.edu>), who  was good enough
  35.     to make a very clean set of patches and test them under X11R6.  I
  36.     have installed his patches in the Xgopher 1.3 sources to release
  37.     version Xgopher 1.3.3.

  41. There are no new features in Xgopher 1.3.3 since the original release of
  42. Xgopher 1.3, only bug fixes (1.3.1 and 1.3.2), aid portability (1.3.2),
  43. and these changes to compile with X11R6 (1.3.3).
